Default Fuel Rail?

I'm interested in your fuel rail, but need to know if you can use the -8 AN port closest to the thermostat as a feed or can they only be used as returns. I'm going with a -8 AN feed and -6 AN return on my new fuel system and theres no point to feed that much fuel through a bottleneck (-6 AN fitting). Thanks.

We suggest using AN-8 port opposite to the thermostat as a feed.

Why do you suggest using the port opposite to the thermostat as a feed? I wanted to use that for my return as my reg would fit perfect there.

You can use a -8 as the feed near the thermostat but it will be VERY tight. I'd recommend a thermostat housing spacer that you can get at rage-tek if that's your plan. If you want to try to squeeze one in there just be aware of the lack of room and order fittings accordingly

Yea I know it's real tight there with an -8an line and was planning on running the rage thermostat spacer. I just want to make sure that it will work on that side of the rail.

I received my boomba fuel rail 2 days ago and am very pleased with it. Can you confirm that the fitting farthest to the right on the rail is a -8an fitting ? I also have JMB's fuel return line kit. I believe the fitting they supplied me is a -8an to -6an to connect to the fuel line that connects to the regulator. Feel free to correct me.

On our fuel rail all ports with bigger plugs are AN-8 and all ports with smaller plugs are AN-6.

Thank you. I originally asked Justin at JMB to supply the correct fitting so I can mount the FPR to the end of the fuel rail. The fitting he supplied is a -8/-6an. Mount's right up to my aeromotive regulator. Do you have any negative comment's on mounting the regulator to the fail. I've read that there can be problem's with vibration's and clearence with the hood.

I run my regulator directly off the rail with no problems

^^^^ What fuel rail are you running ? If people are running the stock fuel rail with the FPR attached and ot having problems, I should be more than fine with the boomba fuel rail.
