Default faded anodizing?

is it normal to have the anodizing fade pretty bad? I have the motor mounts and catch can and fuel rail as well as the shifter. the shifter looks brand new still as well as the catch can...but my fuel rail looks really faded and the mounts not quite as faded but getting there.
is there anthing I can do to bring the color back?
please let me know
Jay

x2 my Black rail is faded as hell. Almost a redish grey color now. Only had it about a year. Was wondering if it was normal too. My tranny mount looks new and it is just as old

the unfortunate thing about anodizing, it doesn't last forever.

The anodizing keeps the aluminum from oxidizing.
