Default Catch can installation manual

TOOLS REQUIRED:
M10 socket wrench
Screwdriver
Pliers

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
9/32 vacuum line - 8 ft
M6 washer - 2 pieces
M6 nut – 1 piece


Boomba Catch Can installation manual


Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber adaptor on the top of valve cover (leave rubber adaptor in place).


Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber adaptor on the intake manifold (leave rubber adaptor in place).
Remove plastic vacuum line completely from the engine.


Press 9/32 vacuum hose (about 5 ft long) into the rubber adaptor on the top of valve cover and route it under the intake manifold. Press 9/32 vacuum hose (about 3 ft long) into the rubber adaptor on the intake manifold.


Install one of the M6 washers on the valve cover screw.


Install catch can and secure it with second M6 washer and M6 nut.


Connect vacuum line from the top of valve cover to the “IN” port of the catch can,
Connect vacuum line from the intake manifold to the “OUT” port of the catch can,


Catch can is ready to use.




To disassemble Catch Can remove snap ring on the top of the catch can. After removing snap ring all components can be pulled apart.
