i have the same manifold and my rpms are shooting up when the car is at a stand still after i give it a little gas. if i manually rev it from the tb itself. it seems to be really slow to bring the rpms down. any idea?
Ok somewhat the same problem. I am having rpm hanging while driving. I think I might have a leak at my bov. So I am going to fix that. But could there be anything else that would cause the hanging from the tb?
This is usually the throttle cable problem. Just to make sure you can remove the cable and pull on the throttle lever to see if it is catching something during the travel.

well i did that and it was not the cable catching. it was the fly hitting the inner walls. I can see where the fly rubbed a little path inside the wall. I spray some liquid wrench in there and it shut pretty good. but over time the air is just drying it up.

You have to readjust the throttle plate limit screw so the plate doesn't hit the wall.
