Default Boomba fuel rail fitting question

I am wanting to put the aeromotive -10an fuel pressure regulator straight on the end of the fuel rail... I am having problems finding the fitting i need to go from the -8 to the -10 can anyone help me find the part number i am needing...

What ever you do do not get a swivel fitting to connect the two, as the fitting can not support the weight and vibrations of the regulator and possibly causing it to fail and causing a fuel leak.

I would also think there's the same possible issue with a non-swivel fitting. IMO its a cleaner install if you mount it direct but you would want to somehow support the regulator if doing this.

well the fitting on the fuel rail is a female -8.... and the size of the fpr is a -10 female so i will need an adapter male to male... i am not sure they make one...

ok i might be wrong... what size is the fitting on the fuel rail... ?

this is similiar to what i need...

But i need to know if the rail is a 3/4 or 1/2... i am thinking 3/4

I follow you now. Trust me though I went through this and understand your idea and I have the Aeromotive with the -10 inlet and outlet.

I do not think you will get exactly what you want without calling earls direct. The issue is as you said plus its an o-ring seal so its kind of very specialized. I looked and can't find my receipt with the phone number to call the place direct like I did, sorry.

i called earls and summit and they cant do anything for me till i find the size of the thread on the fuel rail... that is oring sealed... i know it is an aluminum thread but is it called an -8 or 3/4..?

Heres the part I bought for the inlet on the boomba and its 100% same size and pitch for the outlet side so you can use this as a guide if you want
