Haven't seen anything addressing this yet, as anyone run a Zex wot controller and a wot box? I want to but I'm thinking the only way to make it work is as soon as the car leaves the line in between shifting to 2nd flip the arm switch on so that Zex box will kick on, because it would not be good to it on from the get go (spraying during 2 step = bad lol)
So anyone have any thoughts on this, similar setup ideas, or other routs I could take.
Also I'm not sure how the Zex box would respond to being turned on while already at WOT, not sure if that would cause an issue with it or not, again if anyone has done any testing or is already doing this let me know.

As far as WOT shifting, a simple switch off of the clutch would cut the nitrous off between shifts..
A cheap way to spray from second gear on automatically without flipping a switch after the 1-2 shift is another story..
The Cable or module that N2MB is working on is an add on for the wot box and you would still have the wotbox/2-step functions with the added bonus of cutting off the iginition and solnoids during a wot shift.
From my understanding it's TPS activated so I guess you could launch off of the 2-step, then go full throttle activating the nitrous, the wot box with nitrous module would take care of the rest of the run.
I'm hoping phrozen will chime in. Lots of folks are waiting for the nitrous module.
I'm running direct port too, NX kit with a 100 shot, so you think 2nd is the best place to start spaying?
Its all traction controlled...i have gone 1-2-3-4 but never made a clean pass, but 2-3-4 i did 11.8. There is definately faster times to be had spraying all 4 gears off the line

I have my window set from 3-5900, and use the wot box shifting at 6k when i spray. my nitrous and wot box coexist well together

So you are wot shifting outside of your nitrous window?

I spun 24" slicks spraying 1st, but the track really sucked. there was rubber build up and they just kept spraying vht on top of it.
Ran 8.2 @ 91.7mph spraying 2nd & 3rd
I'm hoping to get to the track friday night. This will be a better prepped track (I hope) and I'll try a lil lower tire pressure to see if i can get traction while spraying of the line.
Im spraying out of the hole now no 2 step. However im not to sure about the zex wot switch. In my setup im gonna run a 2 step and set my dynotune box to skip first gear and spray in 2nd that way I can have both unless I change my mind. However if you want to spray out of the hole on the 2 step you still should be able to I would think because even though the rpms are in the spraying range and your foot is all the way down on the gas the clutch is still pressed in. I would think you would be able to set it somehow so when the clutch is in it wont spray but I could be all wrong just thought I heard thats an option for both

I wonder... the main power wires coming form the wot box that you cut and splice into the your ignition wires, it cuts power to those during wot shifts, we'll there 12v power wires to your injectors and coils, so what if you ran the Zex controllers power wire through that after the wot box then it would also be cutting power to the zex controller during wot shifts, as long long as the zex controller wouldn't be to much extra load on that wire causing ignition problems that would work for shifting. 2 stepping though you would still have to flip a switch. Or wait until N2MB releases there nitrous module that plugs into the wot box to allow full fuctionality of 2-step/wot box with nitrous.
That's what I'm gonna do. I'm trying to limit the number of boxs switches and diods I'm adding to the car.
here is what I did. on STG 2 shifting at 6400 I drop to about 4800 rps. Set my 2 step to 4400 and My nitrous to kick on at 4800(msd window switch) and off at 6200. Now I can WOT shift and use my 2 off the line with both the WOT Box and dynotune tps switch.
