im new to this nitrous stuff, but i want to try a zex 75 wet shot kit, just the basic kit with the brain box. my question is that zex says that the kit is designed to work off stock fuel supplys and has the built in safety features, so does that mean i do not need to buy a fuel pump, fuel pressure switch, boost retard box, or wot switch? im looking at setting my window switch at 3500/5500. if i did use a boost retard box would it help to tune it...ive read to tune with 1100psi, and look for 10.5 afr's... please give me some feedback...thanks

What other mods do you have? Total fuel demand of the car will dictate if you need to upgrade your fuel pump. I'm on stock fuel pump with a zex kit and I've had no problems so far but a 100.00 fuel pump is high on my upgrade priority list.
Boost retard box? I take it you mean something to control timing? No need to retard timing for a 75 shot, unless you are running a ton of boost and are experiencing detonation.
Zex claims there system is safe because it supply's the right mixture of fuel and nitrous for any given bottle pressure. Window switch is still a good idea and a bottle warmer
Get your AFR's where you want them off the bottle. Then when you spray the nitrous and are rich you can tune out the extra fuel by changing to a smaller fuel pill.
Also know that Comp cams (makers of zex) rate there jetting for flywheel HP, not to the wheels HP, so if you use there jetting chart for a 75 you are actually jetted for @ 65whp. But that might not be a bad thing because you are gonna gain about a pound of boost when you spray. Oh before I forget, the instructions might be backwards for jetting in the kit directions. When we installed mine my buddy put the pills in backwards. He said he did it as per the directions. So in other words, go to the web site and look at the jetting chart there.
The WOT switch is inside the control module. It is a TPS activated switch.
Just run it the way it comes, it already has a WOT feature built in and low fuel pressure safety too.
You can wire it through a window switch,,, and hang on.
if you want more safety and control later on , then add some stuff to it.

and a shift knob with button for the ultimate control
of the system, That way I chose when and where I want it on
like what gear and all.
