Default Your plans for this track season

What's everybody's plans and goal for this spring/summer?

I'm probably gonna re-locate to DC/northern va area (waiting for final ok on my hire) and if that all works out my goals are.

Planned upgrades:

- Install my wideband
- Install my clutch
- Tokico struts
- Some type of fuel control for off bottle use
- Possibly stage II
- Take car to DCR for an on and off the bottle tune
- Fix the lil minor cosmetic gremlins with my car
- Window switch
- progressive controller
- Find and fix tranny/shifting problem
- Small stereo system

Goals:

- sub 2.0 60' times
- 12.5 or better quarter mile pass
- at least two top three finishes at a car show.

Every once in a while I get the urge for a big turbo, but how cool would it be to get into the 11's on stock turbo and a nice shot of nitrous!!

So what are some of your goals this spring/summer?

Well right now my car is in several hundred pieces. In the process of SSturbo install, Intimidator manifold on the way, probably remove stage 2(if you want to buy it Rhunter I may be selling the pcm, the toys, injectors, and the wastegate after I get a way to program the computer or a standalone, Does the SCT almost count as a standalone? All you would need is the 3 bar map and the ummm other thingy) Rewire wideband, installing a new bottle warmer.

Hoping to be able to afford new injectors, Throttle Body, and cams. But have to get the car tuned and something to tune it with first.

If PTPerformance is right once I have all working I will be needing a cage if that tells you the times I plan on running. My track opens Feb 14th but my car wont be ready. I have a race here in Memphis at the end of March so I have to get on the ball.

Oh yes probably after the first few solid runs I will be needing a new clutch.

Sounds like you guys have some big plans for this season.

Busa,

I'd be really interested in buying your S2 if you take it off. How much would the 3 bar sensor cost me? Since I plan on being a nitrous car for a while, I think S2 is perfect for what I want to accomplish.

Oh one other Mod I plan is John's direct fit IC. I've been telling Mole' I'm gonna get one for over a year now. I just gotta move, let the dust settle, then start on the car.

I am not sure but you can buy them separatly from all of the people who sell the kits. As soon as I get my tuning device//not a piggyback I will be removing it and will gladly sell it to you. If you want I can go ahead and sell the wastegate, but you may want to wait until I get the whole thing off and ready to go.

The first place I looked had the 3bar map at 71 and the TIP at 98. Those are the only parts I wont be selling. Not sure if you want the intercooler sprayer but am not sure. You wouldnt need it with a bigger front mount intercooler anyway. And I guess I dont use it anyways so I mine as well take it off also.

Will do. I am pretty sure I am going with the SCT and they say it is better with the stock pcm so I will be removing it as soon as I get my SCT. SO far the quotes I have for full tuning alone without the cost of the unit is around $650 and I have to go to alabama to do it. So far none of the local shops have stepped up.

My friend 04customblue just got his SCT in and he likes it, and riding with him I can tell a difference it pulls harder then it did before. I think that's the route I'm going to take but I'm going to wait until next year when I go DBB 50 trim

well i was going big turbo but i don't think i'm done with the stocker yet so i'm getting ptp manifold which one don't know, fuel pump rewire, 255 pump, ptp 55mm t-body,dual aeroforce gauges,AEM wideband and a SAFC Neo then tune the fuel in better then i was with the map clamp and start messing with the nitrous more these mods should really help considering all the shit i have on it already.it runs 12.90s@113 right now off the n2o and my goal on drag radials is low 12s@ 115 on boost alone and on the sauce this bitch should go 11s
