OK now to clear up the myth of injesting co2 in your intake, if your intake is a short ram yes it could happen at low to moderate speeds but if you are running a cai it is virtualy impossible to injest any thing @ 5 mph or above
by cooling the intake temp will help you out in two ways
1) this will make your cylender temps drop preventing detonation
2) this will make the air more dense (more o2 per cfm) this adds horse power 1% per 10* drop (this is not a made up number)/ btw this is the exact reason a big turbo makes more hp than a small one at the same pressure
does it work. yes you will feel a difference
will it make your car crazy fast. NO
is it worth it. depends on your set up
will this take time off your 1/4 mile. probly not maby some mph
fyi for almost the same money a nitrous kit will make your car KICK SOME SERIOUS ASS
Thanks that help a lot. I was debating weather of not to cool the intake or to just get a nitrous kit. By the way it looks, if prolly just get a kit.
So my next question, whats a good nitrous kit??
