I'm thinking about investing in a nitrous set up but there aren't any shops around me where i live that can fill nitrous. Where do you guys get your bottles filled? Could a place like airgas fill a nitrous bottle? Thanks for the help.
airgas supplies our speedshop with nitrous, i dont know if they will sell retail though

When I was in Cali I went to check shuchs graegan (spelling) for a refill once. It was cheaper than all of the local speed shops. Just do a yahoo search for your home town+nitrous refill
Check around there are places to get it. If you are really unlucky and no one is near you will have to buy your own refilling station(most nitrous manufacturers carry them and they arent alot) and buy in bulk.
Check tires and rim shops, call the closest drag strip and ask. Look online for local car clubs, check all the parts shops. If you still cant find it find a local racer and ask him. If you still cant find someone egt a few friends together that use the stuff or want to use it and just buy in bulk and get a refill station.
# Description Price Buy
CFN Complete Nitrous Refill Station everything you need to do refills, just order a big tank from a gas supply or welding supply company and you're ready to go. Runs off air compressor $699.99
CFN Nitrous Refill Pump Alone - No kit $549.99
Also most welding and gas supply companys sell nitrous but usually just in bulk. You can call and ask.
I know that sounds like alot. But in bulk you can get it for less than $1 a pound. Most places charge $3.50 to $5.00 a pound. So it will take between 17 and around 28 refills to break even. Thats not including the gas to get to the super shops. That sounds like alot of refills but if you can find 2 other guys to pay you $5 a pound for nitrous you will have your money back before you know it. And $5 a pound is alot but if there is truly no where in the area to get it than its a deal. After that you will be saving at least $2.50 a pound everytime you refill.
