Who makes the best setup?
How much $$$$ new/used?
Most of what you ask is covered in the sticky's, but I'll give ya some info to get started.
- My nozzle is placed in the plastic portion of the stock IC pipe. it shoots up towards the throttle body. People will say give you different opinions of the "best" location. I've only had mine in one spot so can't say if it's the best worst ect.
- If you are on stock turbo don't bother with anything less than a 50 shot
- Nobody makes "the best set up". Stick with a name brand and you will be fine. Popular brands are NX, Dyno tune, Zex. Zex is the easiest to install. All the components are stored in a lil box they call a nitrous control module.
- New look at spending close to or over 500.00. Yeah seems like a lot of money but trust me, the gains you will get and the shit eating grin you will have justify the cost!! Heck a good quality 3" an exhaust will cost you 700.00 and won't net you near the gain that a nitrous kit alone will get you. Here are a couple example set ups give or take some parts. You can get by with
- Any brand name wet kit (make sure it has TPS activation stay away from micro switchs)
- bottle pressure gauge
A good kit will have:
- Window switch
- bottle pressure gauge
- bottle warmer
- progressive controller
- Purge kit
- burst disk and blow down tube
I know I'm forgetting a ton of stuff. Oh welcome to the best section on the forum.
