i finally got everything working right and tuned out with the car. first i was getting real bad knock and found out it was bad gas. then found out the nitrous line going from the solenoid to the distibution block was colasped so it wasnt gettn no nitrious when we sprayed it. got everything fixed and this was all done on 93 with monitering the scan gauge on the pulls. a/f was 11.4 on 75 shot

Mods:
stage3r
agp wastegate on 24psi
3" turbo back exhaust
walbro 255
fuelpump rewire
bfmic
aeromotive return line
bottleneck fix
03 rail
safcII
aem cai
act 6 puck
motor mounts
ssqv
scan gauge
zex direct port and some odds and ends im forgeting

first pull is off nitrious
second pull is 50 shot but had to small fuel jet and a/f went 12.5 peek and got 4 degrees K/R
third pull is 50 shot with bigger fuel jet and a/f was in the 10s
fourth pull with 75 shot and everything was beautiful 0 k/r and a/f was 11.2 then went 11.5 at redline

i think it was pretty good numbers, 75 shot made a extra 100hp. plus if you look at the notes on the bottom of the dyno sheet it was 100 degrees with like 25% humidity, so if it was cooler out it probally been a closer to 500hp, but im satisfied with it, specially on 93 octane

STD correction!

What was SAE, or better yet, Uncorrected #s?

Should have enough power to hit 10s!

Edit: Nevermind. Just saw the correction factor is 1.04. Uncorrected #s would be 460.7 whp peak. Damn good! Seriously, go get some slicks, and see if you can click off a 10! You should be at least good for mid to low 11's if your driving isn't up to par!

i got a a pair of 26" slicks, i might try it this weekend after i put the window switch in for the nitrous. im all about mine being safe because i drive this car to much not to worry about it. best i got on slicks before was a 12.6@110 and the car was kicking out of hom in third with a best 60ft of 2.0. thats the bad thing bout mine being a 03 when i was heating up the slicks one tire was spinning, then when i launched the other tire went to spinning...lol, and on street tires it went a 13.06@116 with a 2.2 60ft. but i've only takn it to the track twice, once on slicks and other on street tires. the time on slicks it blew the intake manifold gasket so i only got two runs on them

What am I missing here. Youre saying your first run (377whp) was on 93 octane?! Have a REAL tough time believing that one, thats a HOM on race gas number for a stock wheeled S3r.

All of the numbers posted are on 93 octane no HOM. The last time at the dyno, the car made 371whp at 4500RPM in HOM and was climbing just before it kicked out and lost 25ish whp..The issue turned out to be a bad tank of 110from a local gas station..

The s3r is stock wheeled..and nothing has been done to this car internally except the balance chain removal for safety. Other than that, its basic bolt ons, SAFCII tuned to 12:1 af off the bottle (24psi) and the nitrous has been jetted to maintain 11.4-11.6AFR while on the bottle..

With quality race fuel, cooler air temps (not the 99* day this dyno was done) and a few other tweaks, and 400whp in HOM is there..Although I'm not going to push anything more on the nitrous side as this car is all stock from valve cover to oil pan minus the balanceshaft chain and is pushing 90K miles..

I think you would be the first of 500 of S3r owners stock wheeled and stock top-end to hit that number on pump gas. I guess you can understand my scepticism, esp. at 24psi as well. with 27psi spike, 23psi at redline, 93 octane and 100% meth running and 35* of timing (1* more than HOM) i made 377whp with dead flat 11.5-11.7 AFRs to redline, mind you my torque was all over yours with 425wtq. And that with more mods than you.

Just don't get it. Either way doesnt matter, you made 100whp more, which is what matters, a dyno is good for tuning not measuring performance.

I can agree with that...the dyno helped get the kinks out of the nitrous setup and allowed better monitoring of the knock and a/f..

The track will be the performance measure..mainly going with the MPH, though it would be nice to get atleast a 1.8 60ft and get a decent e.t. Gotta get a LSD to heat up BOTH slicks

I had similar results with a fogger nozzle
and 100 HP Jets
I made 473 / 553
The Dyno chart was a bit scewed due to a loose connection
but you get the idea

dont look like its hitting the track till i make some adjustments, when i spray it on the street im getting knock and some detonation because of the pump gas. it did good on the dyno but its not the same load as the street. so im looking at my options as fas at meth injection
