Is is safe to run a 100 shot on race gas w/ stocker
I was curious is it safe to run a 100 shot of nitrous on a stocker with a 110 octan. My car has all the bolts on. Hoping to get the high 11's with slicks is that possible? My nitrous kit will be running on with a window switch and starts on 3000 rpm and cuts out at 6000 rpm.
I would make it a direct port setup. As far as the motor is concerned, it will handle it as long as the tune is safe. The clutch on the other hand..........
hopefully we get some more opinions on this, from some of the more nitrous experienced guys. from my experience i believe it to be overkill running the window to 6k. secondly it will definetly shorten the life of the motor if proper fuel is not added. i would suggest a walbro pump along with the stage 2 injectors and would be safe on fuel as long as your not trying to boost over 20lbs. gonna need some kind of tuning mech to get the cycles right on the fuel.SAFC Dtec diablo. 11's is optimistic. with that setup i would expect mid to low 12's at best if you can drive.

The injectors are not need, the pump is a saftey thing that will help supply the kit with the fuel it needs. Have people ran 100 shots with no issues? Short answer is yes. The issue is dispertion on the bigger shot to all the cylinders. Huyabusa has chimied in with info that he got from zex that showed that a small % of veration in nitrouse per cylinder can cause excecive bearing ware. With a 100 shot that is not knocking its ass of and the help of the race gas you should make 11s. It is posible if you can drive you ass of to make 10s. I know rage made like 400+hp on a hundred shot, and little else. As for the window till 6k go for it I made a flat 325hp on a couple of my shake down runs from 3k-6k with no falling off. The answer is run what you can afford to break.

def 11s. no doubt. talk to NJ DSM. he just got his best time yesterday. 05 srtn with 3 inch dp, aquamist hfs1 meth kit, 255, and a 75 shot on 24 inch slicks. 11.8 at 114. with video footage to back it up. stock motor, ic, trans, axles, only a DP and meth and a pump.... go for it man with good driving skills you wont even need the 100.
he has a window switch as well and i think it cuts out at 5800...

Tell him to bump it to 6000 he will make power on the spray all the way to red line.
