I personally wouldn't, Why??? Because the flame tranfers the heat very quickly, but the radiant heat will still make the bottle temp rise. Another words, it may read 1000psi, and all looks good, then in the next minute it can keep going up. From the radiant heat. If you have to do it, once the bottle temp gets where you need it, then give it 5minutes, to see if it keeps climbing. Some people have used torches, with success, but not me. I wouldn't run a nitrous kit, unless I have a real time pressure gauge, from the seat, That way, there's no guess work. I would put in the front floor board, and run the heater. I'm about to go down the bottle route too, after my clutch!!!

hmm, makes since, a lot of the older guys say the torch works fine if ur careful, i think i can heat it to around 850 and then if it rises ill have plenty of room with no worries
buy a warmer from dynotune nitrous it's $55 then buy a $1.99 30amp relay and a switch with a little lite so you know when it's on, and incase you park it for the night you don't leave it on.
when the pressure get's to 950 to 1050psi shut it off, then later on you can buy the upgrade kit to where it will be thermostated so you can set it were you want it, i think it's like $69.95.
but personal i didn't want it that way so i could flip the switch and let it get to 1100psi on occations

As long as the adapter can handle the amps???? Bottle warmers, get pretty hot, so I don't know if a heating pad would get it up to temp, test it in the garage, and see if it works.
I don't see why not, just remember to check the pressure right before the run, or hopefully you have a guage from the seat. If it's too High a purge is a must, know your system, lean & rich window, is about 100psi. As long as the pressure is there, the system will perform. Just make sure, your in the window of safety.
