Default Resetting your TPS switch

This is a topic that I dont recall having advised any one to do, and dont recall seeing it posted. I just remembered this as I just installed another one on my car and put my old one in my brothers car.

When you set up a programable TPS switch, which they almost all are now, you have to set it for your particular cars voltage readings. Even if you move it from one SRT4 to another you need to reprogram it. Those of you who bought a new one probably know this and set it, but if you got a used one, or didnt read the whole directions you may have skipped this part. Each car has readings that may be off just a little from one to another. And different makes have different readings.

So if you havent done this you need to do it now. If you are installing one dont skip this part. If you buy used you will need to find out how to set them, if you buy new just follow the directions. In all cases it is a very easy procedure that that only takes about a minute. Each model has a bit different method so if you dont know ask and someone will be able to tell you how to set it.

I second that I know dyno tunes has you take it to full trotel for a second and then save the reading (4.0) in my case. My good advice from Busa.
