what are your ideas on spraying with out race gas.
im stg1, agp wg 15 psi,i want to at least make my way up to a 75 shot but im taking my time getting there.
and will i have timing issues with no way to really tune.
thanks for any help
first....you will just have to add fuel to compensate.....how is this setup for ya
u can use a dsp or msd for the timing but im sure other people have some tricks

what kind of shot do you plan on running.....what is your setup? i need to jet mine and put it on the dyno.....something smaller you shouldnt have a problem, you just have to match the jets so when you spray, you keep safe afs
If you have basic bolt on's and only spiking 15 psi just jet it for a 50 shot. You will probably be on the fat side but until you get a wide band or do a dyno pull to determine your AFR's better safe than sorry.
I've sprayed on 93, but a gallon or two of race gas is good insurance. If you can't get that, or are cheap, just the the N.O.S octane booster. It works and cost about 10.00
remember using nitrous is not a begginer's class, it's an honor's class, because the results of a miscalculation or abuse can cause to a big time fail.

thanks. i do have a wide band but a 50 shot on straight 93 unleaded should be fine huh?

my set up is a nos single nozzle, still working on a window and a wot switch

You should be fine. Make sure you keep it a touch on the rich side. If possible hook up a scan gauge and do a pull to see what your timing is looking like.
i ran a 75 shot on the same setup as you with a few more bolt ons...NOS kit, 41N 21F and it runs perfectly...AF starts at 10.9 and rises to about 11.4, no race gas...i cant measure knock but i dont think it can be to bad...i was not pulling any timing
Rule of thumb is pull 2* of timing after 100shot, then 2* every 50hp shot more...honestly i think your safe...just make sure you turn the boost down when you spray cause it will up the boost for you 2-4psi...you dont wanna go over 17-18psi
works pretty damn good and its a nice power increase...i gained 95hp and 126ft lbs @ the wheels...!
You can try some E-85, a couple of gal will give you some protection and its cheap. I ran a 75 shot and got 110hp out of it with a fat hit of Tq but my timing was a mess.
