found this while I was looking the other day. Right now just for background I have my safc pulling 25% fuel at all rpm bands average. None less than 20, still with an 11.3 fuel ratio at 22psi boost falling to 17. I wanted to set up a dry shot for a 50 shot. Obvously scale down the AFC settings for a little more fuel and less timing when spraying. Anyway for the price what do you think, and has anyone heard of this company. I have had a shop in Texas that swears by them but other than that nothing else.
Dude dont use a dry shot on and SRT-4. We dont have a MAF sensor so the car will not adjust for the extra air. Get a wet kit form Dynotune or where ever.(my kit is from them but I got it used) And got from there. when my foot heals I'll be spraying a 75 shot in mine. there are some local people on eastcoastboost.com that have n2o experince beoned mine. I live in stafford and I'll help if I can. I'm sure Hayabusa will get in on this but from what Ive read DRY is bad.

I know dry is not the best option as far as future modding, But I can adjust the fuel with my afc. Going with a small shot just wondering what people think as long as I dont get crazy.
All I can say is dont do it. Just spend a few dollars more a get a wet kit. You might could spray a 35 shot dry, but why waste your money. Get a wet kit. If you dont you will regret it as you will spend almost as much and not be able to use much nitrous at all. You will be very limited on how much you can use with a dry kit. It is so much easier tuning with a jet than by playing with the computer.
Modern Performance has a wet kit for under $400. They are great, but just shop around, and dont skimp on the kit. You will regret it if you go dry even if you can run a 35 shot. For the extra money you can easily run at least a 75 shot, and if you dont think there is a big difference between a 35 and 75 or a 50 and 75 just ask around.
I understand what you are saying, thing is i know quite a bit about cars and nothing about nitrous. I understand what it does, but can someone explain why (since I have more than enough fuel.) I cant tune the car with a dry nitrous setting and use my w/i for knock. Basically I plan on setting it up so if the meth aint working the nitrous wont fire.
run the dry and adjust the fuel. I would rather trust a safc to add fuel instead of a solinoid. If you have no tunning device wet is the only was to go. but if you can tune in and out fuel dry is just fine, and alot easier to hide.
that why I got the safety features for meth. when it runs out and looses pressure the power is set to cut off. What I plan to do with the nos is tie them together so if the meth ever cuts off for any reason, low meth or blown fuse the nos would follow
Well do what you want, but the extra fuel you have is not enough for a 75 shot of nitrous. Are you planning on constantly changing you tune for nitrous, and then for street? I can tell you that with the stock system and a 35 shot of nitrous I still had to use a pretty good size fuel jet to get my a/f ratios into the 11.5 range. No I didnt have to use the same size I would have if my car had been tuned to 11.5 before the nitrous, but I still had to use fuel. If you read the site you sent a link to it says for Mass air flow cars. There have been lots of people on this board run dry systems. It can be done, but they are either running wet systems now, or they arent on the board any more. I cant tell you why, they just arent. Anyone who tells you that you shouldnt use a wet system just has not tried running a big enough shot to make it worth there time. I mean even if you can some how run a 50 shot, for $125 extra you can run at least 25more hp and that comes to $5 per hp. Where else are you going to get that kind of hp to cost ratio. But go ahead and try it and report back on your results.
im starting to look around about a nitrous kit when i get my srt next week, but i drive a wrx now and ifu know nething about hondas i got beat by a d15b with vtec in a crx spraying a 45 shot. pulled me by 2 cars where if no nitrous= uber pownage for the honda
