Default question on dry kit?

i have a fully built engine, and i was wondering, would the engine be able to handle a dry kit?

i know in the sticky it only speaks of wet and/or direct but i would assume they were only talking of stock engines.

well let me know what you guys think if this would be safe to run a small shot on a dry kit or to not use it at all?

Doent matter how built your engine is if you spray a dry kit and go lean BOOM!! Dry kits are just n02 and wet kits tap in to your fuel to even out. Wet kits are a standalone power no need to tune your car to it, I would think the only use for a dry kit would be for an all out race car using no2 all the time. .02

Say no to dry kits. The stickie will tell you why most will recommend wet kits only.

If you are looking at a small shot to spool a large turbo then sure a 35 should work out nicely. But if your are looking at nitrous a a primary or secondary power adder then you will be better served with a wet.

thats exactly what i was doing with m dry kit. and it worked great. i mad over 400 whp and tq @ 3k rpm's. but i agree with what hunter says you should just get a wet kit.

its alot safer to run and like it was mentioned before you dont have to tune your car to it.

i know everytime i spr i have to switch maps for my n2o tune. kind of a pain in the ass. thats why im looking into converting to a wet kit.

I have a wet kit and love it. But you have to make sure your tune is safe before the nitrous. After that jet properly and your golden. As stated above dont go above a 50shot dry on these cars and thats pushing it and definately should not be sprayed dry past 5k IMO. After that without a bottleneck fix these cars can run lean without spraying.
