Agreed, but If I'm running a AFT that high, I'm probably screwed to begin with!! It will matter if I'm running a lil on the lean side. It will help to combat detination. As far as the very few nitrous problems that I've seen with regards to SRT's it was mainly do to some type of mechanical problem with the kit, (IE: bad micro switch, clogged solniod etc). I've never seen someone grenade a SRT-4 motor because of a lean condition caused from the wet nitrous kit.

Not saying it has never happened, just has not happened to anyone who frequents this board.

It often leads to premature engine wear though. We see this on the dyno all the time. Who knows how much it actually harms it, but since the nitrous pressure (1000 psi) is so much higher than the fuel pressure (58 psi), you get a momentary lean spike every time you spray. Not much you can do about this, its just what happens, but again, who knows how much harm that actually does. Its really only a split second.
