Default nos brand jets vs nx jets

are the jet sizes the same. would a 21 fuel jet size on the nos brand be the same as a 21 fuel jet size on a nx brand kit.

Nos & NX can only be used with the same manufacture. A NOS jet will not fit a NX nozzle, trust me. They're not interchangeable!!!!! As far as jetting goes, they're about the same, but 1 might flow or atomize better then the other.

Most jest are interchangeable. I knew that ZEX jets only fit ZEX kits, but I didnt know that there were other companys that did this.

Anyways the 21 size jet is the size of the hole so yes they are the same as far as jetting goes. You just need to make sure you get the right jets to fit your kit. What is different is that at least ZEX rates the power at the crank from a certain size jet. All other companys rate the power at the wheels. So when we say its safe to run a 75 shot we mean it is safe to run a 75 hp shot at the wheels. Just make sure you get a jet that fits your kit, and also make sure you use a calculator to choose you jet sizes. There are hundreds out there.

Only use the jets for the manufacture that your kit is built buy. I have paid for this on 2 occations now, don't mix the jets from one brand to another. Its gets costly.

Jeez I get jets all the time. Although I dont use them I pick up Zex jets for people all the time and I have never paid over $3 for them when buying singles and as little as .50 when I bought a bunch at the same time. Of course I get them from the ZEX warehouse/factory. I bought my jets from cold fusion, I got a box containing over 120 jets for like $155. I guess buying in bulk helps. ANd before you ask why I need so many I like to really dial in my system, not to mention at the local track I am known as the jet guy. I meet new people all the time looking for this jet or the other. I broke a part at the track one day and I was going to have to go back on the trailer. However a guy I had given some jets to came over jacked my car up, welded the part back together and I was good to go.

I was under the impression that NX jets could be used in a Zex nozzle. I could be wrong though.
