I'm running 25 psi of boost on a built motor, ALL bolt ons, Delta 65 turbo, water/meth inj SRT-4.
I'm going to buy a N20 kit and spray a 50 shot. I plan on dropping the boost to 23 and spraying from 3000 to 6200 rpms.
This should give me much faster spool and be about an equal swap on power from dropping the boost 2 psi ...
But here's what I want to know: How do I know if I need to pull any timing at the same time ?
ALL safety measures will be added.

When i ran a 50 shot i didn't touch the timing running 93 pump and no meth, granted your pushing alot more air than me but if you took out 2* degrees you'd be plenty safe, you can tell if things are going wrong by reading the plugs (you don't want to see silver specks)or if you can monitor knock.
Well, this in indeed interesting. I just got off the tech line at Zex, and they insist I should pull ZERO timing with only a 50 wet shot. Say it is absolutely NOT needed.

I agree 100% if your running conservative timing and a fairly rich afr....the amount of boost and timing i'm running now with the 50 shot 2 degrees are coming out.

lol, thats a general rule people have been using for a while but I think that was made for guys who tune their cars not just strap on a kit and go (very conservative stock fuel and timing)
I hope you recorded the conversation for liability purposes
