Decided on the Zex system. I like the TPS based WOT and the controller. Smallest jet for their wet kit is a 55 whp one though :
Is there a calculator to know precisely how much psi of boost I should lower for a given nitrous whp rating ?
I know I have to lower my boost, but by EXACTLY how much should I lower it ?
I'm also going to use a window switch tp prevent it from coming on at WOT before 3000 rpms. Do I also need to set an upper limit with the window switch, or is it ok to let it turn itself off when coming off the throttle at redline ?
Is a window switch the only good way to set the nitrous to start spraying at only 3000rpms and over, because the kit ONLY comes with a WOT switch, and not an RPM based activated switch. Wouldn't a simple boost switch work instead of a window switch ?
What kind of spark plugs should I use ? I've heard my NGK Iridiums are a bad choice for nitrous.
Here's the details : Built motor, Delta 65, water/meth, ALL bolt ons. 25 psi of boost.
Iridiums work fine with nitrous or at least they always have for me...its the platinum plugs you wanna stay away from. And i would set an upper limit on the window switch in case u miss a shift near redline, that way you dont dont hit the rev limiter while the bottle is spraying and get a nice burp. As for how much boost to run....well that all depends on the tuning, octane level, and how close to the edge of max performance you are willing to run. I cant really give u an exact amount of boost to lower and i havent seen a calulator but there might be one somewhere on the net.

oh and window switches are definately nice but u could also get one of the more expensive nitrous controllers that do progressive control which also includes adujustable rpm activation points.
If you havent maxed out the 65 then why try to complicate things with nitrous?

^^this
If your doing it for spooling then I would do a little search and find info on the "hobbs switch", it will turn off the nitrous at a set boost, much like how your meth turns on at a set boost. (someone in here talked about it several times but I forgot who.) You can let it spray until you get to a boost level your happy with and then the nitrous will shut off and the turbo will take it from there. That way you dont have to worry about limiting your boost and it will save trips to get the nitrous refilled.
