this write up should be stickied. i have never done a nitrous install and this made it crazy easy.

I will get that picture for you. If you dont mind it may be the morning before I can take it. Its already dark out here and my garage does not have great lighting. Also I will have to make sure I can get it back there as it is a very tight fit. I will definitly make sure you tap the right wire though.

For those of you that have to replace the fuel rail it is very easy. I used the boomba fuel rail and it is worth every penny.

Here is how it is done, at least for the boomba

1. Remove fuel rail cover.
2. Remove the fuse in the engine compartment that goes to the fuel pump. Start the car and let it runs until it dies. Then try to start the car a few times to empty the fuel lines.
3. Remove the fuel line from the rail. It is very easy all you do is push on the tab and pull it off. If you have to pull hard you are doing it wrong.
4. Remove the wire harness clips.
5. Remove fuel injector clips using a small screwdriver.
6. Remove fuel rail bolts.
7. Gently pull fuel rail towards the front of the car. Pull evenly on both sides. Work it gently off.
8.Clean up any fuel spills.
9.Carefully remove the fuel line clip from the stock rail. Go slowly and gently or you will break it.
10. Install the fuel line clip on the new rail. If you are going to an 03 fuel rail it probably already has one.
11. Make sure that all the seals(gaskets) stayed on the injectors, look in the one you just removed and make sure they all stayed with the injectors. If your car has alot of miles on it then replace them.
12. Push the new fuel rail over the injectors and make sure the mounting holes line up.
13. Bolt down the new fuel rail .
14. If you are using an 03 fuel rail replace the injector clips. If you are using a boomba rail you do not need these.
12. If you are using an 03 rail connect the Wire harness clips. If you are using a boomba rail you can skip this step.
13.Connect the fuel line.
14. Double check your work.
15. Replace the fuse.
16. Turn on the ignition without starting the car. You should hear the fuel pump working.
17. Check for any leaks.
18. Start the car you are done.

ok i got everything ran except the power to the window switch and the arming toggle switch.

basically with that one it will go......wire from battery to WOT switch, then from WOT switch to arming switch? im confused at this point. the window switch just needs to go into some sort of power right? i think im just gonna hook it to my cd player remote wire.

Ok you have ot down just about right. You run a power wire from the battery to the wot switch. From the the other side of the wot switch you go to one side of the arming switch. The other side of the arming switch goes to the swicthed power wire on your relay.

The window switch power wire the red one needs a power switch that is only powered when the car is on. So yes your power wire on the cd player would work.
The yellow wire on the window switch goes directly to the ground wires on your solenoids. Make sure that they are covered so the only ground they get is from the yellow wire. The way the window switch works is by either grounding the solenoids with the yellow wire or removing the ground by switching to the gray wire that is not connected to anything. Make sure you tape over the end of that wire so it cant accidently find a ground.

The window switch does not provide power to the solenoids. It is just the ground for them.

The power to the solenoids comes from the relay. Which in turn is connected to the wot switch and arming switch. Turning off the arming switch or not having the wot switch in a closed position will remove the power source by having an "open."

hayabusa i tried calling but i keep getting some weird message. try calling me.

also. were im at now.......window switch install???? black wire is ground, yellow goes to solenoids, grey gets covered up, one goes to coal, and then the red one......can i hook the red one to one side of the push button that is wired into the toggle arming switch so that when i hit the button with the toggle on it turns the window switch on? or should i just hook it to the toggle. also if i hook it to the toggle what do i hook to the other side of the push button?

disregard everything i just said.

it needs to go power from battery to toggle to red wire on window switch. wire to solenoids needs to be split with the button so that if the button isnt pushed to close the circuit it isnt gonna spray but when it is it will spray once it hits that rpm. figure it out. thanks mitch!!!

No problem. As soon as I get it I will get it to you.

I will also post it here. If anyone needs pictures of the fuel rail install just tell me. I can post those also.

I found this first diagram online, you can use it to get an idea or to find out which wires go where on the relays.

This is the diagram I created for my own nitrous system. Its very simple to add and remove from it (if anyone wants me to add a feature to it such as FP switch then I can). The only thing it doesn't show is which wires go where on the relays.

Thank you Dark-SRT4. For those of you that dont know how to read a wiring schematic it is really very easy. You need to go to the library and check out a book and read up on the subject. It will save you alot of time, heartache, and money in the long run. Once you figure it out it is as simple as reading this sentence. Sometimes though when I first see one I am just confused. When I stop and break it down piece by piece and realize that all it is is a bunch of "opens" and "closed" it hits me straight in the face. Think of it as a water hose. It flows somewhat the same way. You have faucets that you can open and close and route different ways. In the end you just want the water coming out at the right place at the right time.
