In my opinion if you are going to spend that much money on a nitrous kit, why not inject it into the motor. If you don't want to run nitrous in the motor, you are much better served with a water injection kit.

That's my .02 cents
So is their a power difference between Nos I/C and W/I kit?

The Jury is still out on if a nitrous (not NOS unless you talking about the brand) sprayer makes a significant power gain. Yes, it cools the intercooler but does that translate into 30 or 40 whp? hard to say.
Some believe that the HP gain from a IC sprayer is mostly due to the unregulated dry shot of nitrous injested by the air intake, not so much from the cooling of the IC.
Bottom line for me is HP gain per dollar spent. Nitrous hands down is the best HP per dollar mod you can do!!! (used for the motor not the IC)
If you don't want to run nitrous on the motor I feel the W/I kit is the next best thing. They seem to gain folks about 30whp on a stock turbo'd car.
every thing rhunter said is true. wi is much better and safer than a ic sprayer for cooling the intake charge. or you could be like me and spray the motor and run wi.

i tested it on my car in 70* temps and never saw more then a 2hp gain.
I'm with Rhunter on this one, it's far more logical to inject the nitrous into the motor than use it as an I/C sprayer. Even a small 35shot will give fare more gains than spraying it on the I/C and, being such a small shot, it's uber-safe on the motor.

money can be spent somewhere else.

IC sprayers are a waste of time/money. You want cooler intake temps? Meth injection and you get the added octane. Its much more easily controlled and Im still a firm believer that any hp gains from IC sprayers are seen from n20 going into the intake filter during a run. You want real hp? Do a single nozzle in the charge pipe.
