Anyways after about 3 months of looking for parts and the right stuff to pop up for sale, I have started my install. Just looking for some feedback, as like I said it is my first time using the bottle.
My nitrous essentials include:
NX EFI kit w/ 10lb bottle. 75 shot jet in JMB cold pipe.
Liquid filled NX gauge on bottle.
Dynotune Digital window/wot switch.
bottle heater
purge
Basically my intentions are to only spray on Q18 race gas. I'll be going on the dyno in December to get two different pulls done. First I want to tune the SAFC for 93 and the meth, no nitrous. After those runs look good and I'm happy, I'll want to run the 75 shot like I said on the 118.
It looks like from what I've read that people run stock injectors on the 75 as long as race gas is used. Should I be running the meth when spraying or am I just wasting my time? What I'm thinking is less knock better, no? Point me in a direction I guess is what I'm asking from someone with some more experience than I.
If it looks like I'm running out of fuel on the dyno then I think I'll either pick up some 750's or a portfueler.

the heater is wired directly to the battery, since i couldnt get it hot enough off just the defroster switch. I've got to find somewhere to mount it, as now its on the pass. side floor.
you have a wet kit? if your leaning out its not because your injectors are too small. it would be your fuel pump. with a wet kit the extra fuel is from the fuel noid. not the injection system. yes run your meth. it helps, some people will tell you not to but it doesnt really matter. also your regular tune will be for meth so that would make it lean if you didnt run it with. and the fuel jet would have to make up for that.

Well its not a DD and i have it open. as in chicken wire-ish stuff clamped over it.
well your first mistake is tuning a nitrous kit with the car's primary fuel system, whenever you tune a nitrous system, you tune it with the fuel jet. as far as the fuel system goes, i would just upgrade to a 255 pump and returnline on a boost reference, that should give you all the fuel you need. I would run meth as every little bit helps
I'm one of the guys who feels that meth with nitrous is a waste of time and money. If you are gonna be running 118 race gas, how much more do you think the meth will help? You are only planning on a 75 so will your EGT's be sky high that you need the meth?

As per my first post, i said i would have a setting on the afc, user 1 for meth/93, and another 0'd out setting for second user to use with the 118 and nitrous. 255 is in and i have a return line capped off while i wait for -an fittings in the mail.

thanks rhunter, i guess ill do a pull with it on/off and see what the tuner says.

Anyways i went out last night with about 8 or 9 cars to do some pulls and test out my kit for real the first time finally with my last 1/8 tank of 118.
Meth on @ 8psi and 35 shot. Fastest car out with us was a 118mph trapping Evo 8, and i pulled pretty much within a 1/2 car of it from 40-120. Happy with how few mods my car has and knowing i still have the 75 to get in
The 35 shot is a tease put the 75 in and role out.
