Ok there has not really been much of a mention on nitrous jet sizes around here. What size nitrous jets do you guys use? What size jet did you make your best time with, what type of tires you used would be helpfull as with a .035 jet on street tires you might have a bteer time than with a .043.
I use a .043 jet most of the time with an average of a 12.69 on street tires. With one lucky run on a .048 jet I got a 12.49 on street tires.
This year slicks, new exaust, and better tuning and I WILL end the season in the 11's.

I run a 31N for a 35shot, 35N for a 50shot, 41N for a 75shot, 52 is a 100shot, 62N is a 150shot!!!
When I ran a 75shot, it would lay rubber in 3rd & 4th gears or smoke the clutch. I used slicks in the test, because street tires are a joke with my traction impaired shitbox. I downsized my shot to a 35, only because of traction. It's gives me the best of both worlds, 100% efficency, 0 lag, advanced timming, with around 400whp, with a bottle, that will last as long as the tank of gas to go with it.
Soon I will be upgrading once I get my coilovers, mounts are on the way!!!
No. Due to constant breaking of the wheel studs I ran the last few races without slicks. I braket race so consistency is more important than time. I will have to go back through my time slips from test and tune nights to see if I ever unofficially ran a 11.XXX, I know I came really close as in 12.0xx's, but I dont personally count it unless I do it during a race, Or back to back. If I can only hit a certain time once and cant repeat it I dont count it. I have no problem with other people counting it as they actually did reach that goal. I guess I just have my mind so stuck on consistency for bracket racing that I only consider what I can run everytime.
I also never got all my toys on the car. I am working on installing my SST along with all the supporting mods right now. Its just hard to get motivated when its so darn cold outside. But they do open up test and tune at the end of next month if the weather is nice so I will have it done by then. With proper tuning I no doubt will be deep in the 11's.

Yes thats what I ended up doing. I havent changed them all yet though, just the ones I broke. Which is 3 on each side. Its funny that it is always the same three. Traction is awesome except for the wheel stud issue which I hope is resolved. I am very fast and efficient at changing them now and can easily do it at the track between rounds if it happens again. I never had a problem with them until I started running an 85 shot off the line. The thrill of nitrous off the line with good slicks is addictive, if you havent tried it you are truly missing out on one of the greatest thrills of drag racing. The only thing that can top it was my old duster pulling low 1.xx's and pulling the front wheels off the ground.
