Default Hidden Set-ups

Anybody have any hidden set-ups.

I think Ive got most places for the kit hidden. Just curious what others have.

Any custom purge set-ups out there?

My set up is pretty much hidden. When we installed it, I still had the factory airbox and it completly hid the solniods. I now have a AEM SRI but it's still hard to see the solniods. I'll see if I can find pictures.

Im talking more of bottle placement and purge placement.

i still want to keep the spare tire, just to show I "dont have a bottle". Since that is where most people put theres. Im pretty sure I have a place for the bottle. 10lb bottle.

And Im just thinking of purging behide the intercooler, and only purge right before racing. I have JMB pipes and tranny cover, So hidding it all behide this I think will be good enough.

10 pounder bottle ? How, Ive checked there myself. No way to get a 10lb in there. With the tank being right below.

Good luck hiding a 10 pound bottle and keeping a spare. I don't think it's physically possible. Your best bet is to hide the solniods and the purge solnoid. Mine purges directly under the car. If you are standing next to the drivers door when I purge the system, you can feel it but you won't see it.

Now that I've gotten rid of my stock airbox it's easier to see my nozzle but it's not at a glance. I've had this car serviced and people not notice it.

My nitrous setup

that's pictures of my single nozzle kit. I'm working on doing the 4 nozzle piranha now. I never tried to hide mine. It's tough when you shoot a 10ft cloud of nitrous out the front.

Eh, I got a few ideas that Im working with on hiding the bottle.

I got a braided meth line going to the pipe. And nitrous nozzle will be on the back side with a JMB tranny cover, so it wont be seen.

For hiding the bottle why not use a big travel or gym bag. Lay the bag down opened up where you want the bottle to be mounted, then install the bottle mounts through the bag into the trunk floor, install the line though a small hole made in the end of the bag and then after mounting the bottle hooking everything up zipper up the bag. I would think that with a couple towels thrown in to off set the shape of the bottle it would look innocuous.

Under hood for lines, buy lines with the black AN fitting ends as these do not have the bling look like with the blue or red ends. Add some plastic wire loom covering or some line sheaths and heat shrink tubing like whats used on the upper rad hose to make things blend in and look stock.

For the solenoids, make sure to use natural finish solenoids and strip off the decals and paint them flat black with rattle can paint. Mount the two solenoids to a generic nitrous solenoid bracket, again rattle can painted flat black. With the solenoids facing the firewall mount the solenoid bracket to the 13mm bolt on the front of the battery tray, the solenoids will be facing the tranny shift linkage but clear without issues and hidden from sight by the battery tray. Probably do not need to paint them but as most bling/chromed solenoids look like poop after a few months under the hood, painted black solenoids have a better look when aged. The NOS super power shot solenoids or something like them are fine and not too big, some of the bigger solenoids will nto fit but most people do not need the big solenoids

For a single nozzle wet shot, rattle can paint the nozzle flat black and position it so that it and the lines clears the slave but is not sticking up. The smaller nozzles are fine for 95% of the time for most users.

If you need adapters for low FP switches, gauge, sensor you can get the fittings in black

Heres a link for lines with the black AN ends

Build a "sub" box out of 1/8" ply wood then get some shitty subs and take the magnets off them so there lighter. That might add 25-30lbs but you can hide your bottle in in and just dont put a bottom on it so it lifts off easy. You will need a remote opener and a bottle warmer to make it real pimp but its an option.

The fake sub box is a good one. I was not to worried about hiding my bottle, Most people don't expect a SRT-4 to have nitrous so they never ask

At the race track who cares what you have in the trunk? This ain't pinks!!! ya run what ya brung and hope it's enough!!!
