Default Advice

So i am new to the nitrous thing, but something that i would really like to do. I really want to do a small wet shot, 50-75 shot, i was wondering if anyone had any advice on a good kit to use, i have heard that Zex is the safest? My mods are 3 E-cut out Dp, Bfmic, Hks BOV, fm wga, K&N intake, wideband, and diablo predator. I am reading around, i guess the next smart thing i would need is a fuel pump for safety and i would need a new fuel rail, boomba, being that my car is an 05... Thanks

A new rail will make your install easier and cleaner. You could always get a 03 rail, they are cheaper than a boomba.

- As far as fuel pump, you will be fine with the stocker. Fuel is the one thing you will not be short on with a wet kit unless you are really lean on your base tune.

- I run zex and I don't know if they are safer, but they are easier to install. I got mine used from a buddy dirt cheap, but If i were buying a brand new nitrous kit, I would get one from www.nitrousoutlet.com

- Don't get me wrong, I've had the zex kit for awhile, it has served me fairly well. I don't like how propriotary there stuff is.

couple different questions. (1) I have a DSP and was wondering if it would be better for me to make 2 customs tunes, 1 for n2o and 1 for just everyday driving off the nitrous? (2) When it comes to jetting do i want to run a 75 shot, should i go with the jets that zex gives me with the kit or is there a different amount of fuel and nitrous that is good for our cars? sorry for the noob questions, just trying to get everything straight thanks

Your jetting will all depend on your bottle presure, and what your starting AFR are. You will have to tune the wet kit, and you may not have to touch your DSP tune it will all depend on how n the edge your tune is. If you want to be safe you can pull some timeing our of the DSP tune but it shouldnt be nesasary. There are to many verables to tell you exactly what will happen but you should start small with the nitrous then work up from there.
