I'm looking to see if it's worth it to look into adding nitrous while I am re building my car. My original plan was to just do the agp sct tune, headwork, and tons of boost and make around 500hp. Is there any way to add nitrous on that or has anyone done it on the stock bottom end. obviously cylinder pressures will be high as hell is there any gain to the quick tq and power from nitrous and less boost. I'm looking for best times however i can get there. Let me know, i know i saw someone on here going 11.2's with a 50 and some nitorus. just looking to get an idea what people with some experience have done before i start rebuilding the car.

Hey dude,
You are out by me. I'm down in Fairfax. I work in Crystal City (dc). Where do you take your car for work? Or do you do your own work? My schedual will not allow me to work on my car, so I'm looking for a shop. Are you talking a spooling shot? I would look at a kit that tapers off nitrous derlivery as you build boost. For what you are wanting to do, I would think a built motor and some sort of engine management would be needed. I don't know enough about the SCT tunes to comment. If I was gonna have a big turbo and nitrous, I would want AEM or something so I can take timing into consideration.
bro, zex has an adjustable spool up shot. you can set the boost level you want on the controller, and as soon as your boost hits that level, it cuts off the shot. say you want 22 psi, but you set the controller at 17 so you don't get a spike. at 17, nitrous is off. or, set target boost on the nitrous controller to 25 psi, and it'll stay on the whole time.

XTREMEBOOST OF ORLANDO FLORIDA FUCKED MY TRANSMISSION. THEY SWAPPED OUT A CLUTCH AND PUT NO TRANNY FLUID BACK IN. but i can't prove it, so i guess that means i'm lying. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FORMER VENDOR. THEIR TURBO KITS ARE TERRIBLE AND THEIR INSTALLS ARE EVEN WORSE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

there are alot cheaper ways of doing that. use a nomaly closed hobbs switch. look in my sig in the link i explain it all. a nomally closed hobbs switch is only like 20bucks. instead of a rediculosly expensive boost activated progressive.
sorry man, im located in columbia maryland, the shop that i work with is metro motorworks, they've worked on my big turbo srt, my 11sec talon, have to 10 sec in house talons and generally are pretty capable at doing performance work. Prices are great and turn over time is great, ive been working with them to kick out a good deal of work in the area. Just finished an srt neon swap that is going pretty well and he'll be running a lot of my old set-up so 400plus whp there. If you need anymore info let me know... i was thinking about adding nitrous but the motor will be maxed out on boost.
also man ems is the shit if you want nitrous control, i like everything integrated, i have a good engine builder we use, and good machine shop, if there's something we cant do we can get it done let me know. I'm just looking into nitrous builds, thats one thing i haven't been able to really do... i guess ive been sleeping on the nitrous guys
