Default 12.2 @ 115

Well I just got back from the track I have video in the vid sec. and pic's in the pic sec... title is TX2k8... I was still burning some tire spraying a 100 shot out of the whole,2.0 60ft.

I ran John Hennessey in his or a customers Srt-8 Jeep and beat him. this is the time slip... It had spray or it was turbo one or the other.

What are your other mods? I assume you are running slicks? If you cant get your 60ft times down to the 1.6 range or at least 1.8 try lowering your shot and you will run a better time. If you can get your 60ft to a 1.6 you will have a mid-high 11 second car. Nice run though.

What was your best time without the nitrous?

It works. On a bone stock car with a 1.7 60ft you can hit a 12.29. So I am betting this guy can hit mid 11's with a 1.6. It sounds like he has some decent mods.

Is that 294whp / 340 ft/lb still accurate? I thought you were closer to 400 whp now, and the spray. Was it with the spray you were hitting 400? Its a nice time, but I thought you were going to be higher MPH, hehe.

that was befor the Brian Crower stage 3 cam install, and nitrous.... I should be closer to the 400hp if not in that range now...
I wont find out if I will get in to the 11's on the stock turbo though...My Turbonetics TRE61 Ball Bearing turbo set up just came in this morning, and yes I am still going to spray.....Hopefully I can get low 11's..
I will post pics soon.

Ooooh, nice! And yeah, I forgot you were on the stock turbo. That explains the slower than I'm used to back half of the track. It just can't move that exhaust up top. I had the same problem on my green car with that. Once I slapped on the Garrett 60 trim, it was no longer an issue

Go and try to get a good pass before you change the turbo. Thats my advise. Otherwise you will not know were you truly are when you change it.

What tires are you using at the track? What was your psi, etc, you need to get those 60ft times down before you add more power or you will just have very high trap speeds and not be really running what you should. Hit those 1.6's and you will be very surprised at what you run.

The tires were at 10 psi...... if the tires dont work for me at the track I will go to a bigger full slick.....

Thanks for all your help and input.....keep it coming.

So they werent full slicks? If you arent using full slicks you should start the nitrous a bit later. A minimum for running nitrous off the line would be a 24.5x8.5 full slick. Anything less will spin. With the new turbo you will need the 26 inch tall slicks
