If you want a honest opinion then I would say save up until you are able to get one in the 40k range. These cars start to cost alot of money if you need spare parts. A GTS in the 20k range is a salvaged title.
P.S 96 was the first year for a GTS.
Silver GTS is completely correct. A GTS in the 20s will likely be a basket case, and have major issues. A quality GTS will have to start in the 40s, and the price has been stable for over a year. Really clean models are even climbing a little bit still. A salvaged Viper will never bring decent money and I concur that one in the 20s is more than likely to have that issue.
might be. they look like the hre 547r's, but when you look closer, they don't have the red center cap. i haven't looked a lot at ccw wheels, but i know they make some nice stuff. saw an evo with 4 18x10's, 285 rubber, man that thing hooked. lol.
Pretty sure those are Complete Custom Wheels from my good buddy John Purner over in Daytona Beach. He has done tons of rims for racers over the years, but his street wheels have been completely busting loose the last 3-4 years. You should check them out as close as you are to the motherlode.
you may be right, they look a lot like the ccw 505A. i like their "classic". i'd love to get a set of those with black centers in a 17x7.5 or so. yea, i'd heard of em before, but i didn't realize they were in daytona.
yea, a lot less than HRE's, but still expensive as hell. the ones i want are 2k a set. i suppose that's not THAT expensive, but i mean, come on, i drive a neon.
true, but i can't see spending that much on wheels, at least not without a better job. you wanna hire me as a tech and pay me what i deserve, that's a different story. but short of that, i'll just have to wait until i'm out of school. when i get my demon, i'll probably put a set of those ccw wheels on.
