I haven't dynoed my 2006 Viper Coupe....and I probably won't. I like track times better....I am scheduled for Viper Days in January at No Problem Raceway and will be participating in the Chevy vs. Mopar Challenge in March at the same track.
I like to drag race, my 2002 Z06 ran 12.6 @ 114 stock and I am expecting 12.0 @120 from the Viper (at the minimum). Who cares what it dynos.....it matters what times, 60 ft's and mph you put down at the track. A car can have 800 rwhp on the dyno, but if the dude can't drive, doesn't have the right equipment and he can't hook it up....then who cares about the horse power...he already made himself look like a tool.

We were running pre-runs on all the Superchargers we installed until we realized it was just costing us and the customer more time and money. Virtually all were running in the 500-510 hp at the flywheel on a Mustang Dyno. For fresh engines so incredibly close to the 510 new SAE rating it became apparent that the factory figures were right on. We normally have seen a 10-25 hp increase on Superchargers motors once they are broken in, and we often told Viper owners over the years not to be surprised to see an increase in hp when the get in the 4,000 to 7,000 mile range from an early baseline run ----- the engines are just flat tight and they do take a bit to really loosen up.
