You wont find a SRT-10 Viper for that kinda price yet. The major differences between the SRT-10 Viper and the GTS is of course the body update and more power. Those are the two biggest upgrades between the two

SRT-10 has more powered compared to the GTS. The GTS only has 450 while the SRT-10 has 510

We never go to the Auction for Snakes, but you can get GTSs in the 50s, and depending on the miles a SRT-10 ( 2003 ) can be at the upper end -- all depends on miles and condition. The one item I noticed that is lacking on your question, fails to address that you are looking at a Coupe ( GTS ) and a convertible ( SRT-10 ), so I guess I wonder what body style is more to your liking. That would address more of the issues, but overall the SRT-10 in the next generation, and it has more power, more torque, but actually what I find the most enticing is..............................killer brakes. Keep in mind the Comp Coupe running in the World Challenge Series has the same braking system ( except for a race pad ). This car will outstop virtually anything on the road.

Hope this helps with some of your concerns. Feel free to call me anytime if you have more questions.

Sincerely,

Bill Pemberton

SRT-10's are starting to look like a good value because GTS' are starting to hold their value as collector cars.

In other words, if you want a car to drive rather than collect, get the SRT-10.

The only bad part about the coupe is the current "skim-the-cream" pricing due to the fact that it's a new addition. The time has never been better to pick up a new SRT-10 vert. Absolute give-away pricing.

That and also because they aren't selling for shit may have something to do with it also

There's no doubt low sales is the reason and it's many fold.

1 - some folks were waiting to see the likes of the Z06.
2 - some folks were waiting to see the likes if SRT-10 coupe.
3 - most folks who like the vert either have one or had one. There's certainly no reason why I would buy another vert with the exact same body and engine. Been there - done that. What's next?
