I am currently doing my build and want see how this compression ratio differs from others? Bad or good? My setup is meth injection ( straight meth ) and a jouranl 50 trim with supportiong mods.. and of course my 8:8:1 compression engine... Im going to drop the sucker in two weeks and want to know your guys's numbers and setup with this comression ratio.. thanx
p.s. I went with the eagle rods and wiseco pistons

I've been running a similar setup for right at 2 years now. I'd prefer a lower compression ratio due to knock issues, but this setup can work with the right tuning device. Don't expect it to do well at all if you're using a piggyback. You're gonna need timing control for sure.

Dsp, sct, aem ems,and maybe aem fic as a last resort. You wouldn't wanna use anything like an safc or a dtec. Tuning with them only makes timing worse.
running 8:5.... DSP low timming.... Gonna need meth or race gas to run higher CR with alot of boost. I get away with 18 psi on pump but timming in the teens.

Do you not have the meth on anymore? I hope that's without it. With 8.8:1 pistons, I daily drive on 30psi on 93 with meth, running off nothing but a mail in flash from agp. I normally get 0 kr doing so.
