I have searched my ASS off and i havent been able to find very much on the timing belt replacement other than how much of a pain in the ass it is. if anyone can point me in the right direction or maybe if you have a link or some pictures or something that would be awesome.
Thanks VCIOUS i appreciate it. This seems to be a pain in the ass
its easy man and dont worry if you screw up timing its a non interference motor so you wont bend valves and dont follow the svc manual to a t tho it says to do some shit you dont need to do

damn man i appreciate yous guys for real. this has made my life totally easy and keep my car in good shape
A non-interference motor only means the pistons won't hit the valves. The valves can still hit each other and bend....so the timing needs to be on and follow the FSM, there are reason's why.
i would love to see a valve hit another valve, not even possible??? Dude i work on dodge all day long trust me if the timing is off it will just run like crap and he will have to do it again.
Not bad for stock/modified stock turbo guys. Big turbo guys need to take the turbo off to get sufficient height on the motor to remove everything. If you don't, your turbo will just hit the firewall and get damaged.
Either way it's just tedious and not really hard. Just follow one of the cam installs in the how-to section or the oil pump install and just discredit the other shit aside from the belt swap info.

i do have a garrett t3/t4 but i think there will be enough room to jack it up a little right or will i have to pull the turbo as well.

What size is it? If it's still a small "big" turbo you may be able to get away with keeping it on. Your best bet would be to jack the motor up until it's TOUCHING the firewall then see if you can get to all the mount bracket bolts. If you need additional height, just remove it.
Aftermarket O2 housings are easy to remove, as are the 4 bolts that hold the aftermarket turbo to the manifold. You do not need to remove the turbo from behind the motor. Simple unbolt it from the manifold and set it down near where the CAI comes into the turbo and that way you can retain your oil feed line(s) and still have enough room to jack it up.

ithink i have enough room. thanks for all your help again guys. i guess this is way easier once you get that damn motor mount bracket off. i am having trouble getting the power sterring pump off that engine mount bracket but ive only just started. but before i go any further should i make a how to. any one interested before i go any further ill take tons of pics.
like most said its a tedious pain in the ass getting the timing belt on. for that power steering pump. use a real long extension and take the 3 bolts off. when you jack the motor up some times if you have a extra hand he/she can pull the motor towwards them selfs and you can jack it up a bit more to take the bracket out. you can't take all the bolts out on that bracket with out jacking the motor up. a 15mm stubbie socket is the best the bolts on the bracketcan be taken off of the motor/head but your going to have to fight with the bracket to get it around the timing belt. i have done a head and oil pump how to,but i want to eventually get a vid on there to make it super easy to take off and on.

sweet thats exactly what what I did. the car only has 34000 when i was driving home i heard a real loud squeling noise then its stopped after a little bit bit i jumped timing. i thought maybe the tension or something seized up so this is the only reason im doing this. Thanks Greasemonkey. I have been taking pictures so i can make a how t. i mean i might as well right so we can have one on the forum until some one makes a much better onei also didnt have enough room to jack up due to the turbo. i dont know all i could see was garrett m 163 i have no clue what that means and i saw A/R 60 on the other side. ill have pics and a how to soon

yea man no problem! when you do it a few times it gets easier and easier. if it did slip timing take a look at the tensioner it might be messed up. lots of pictures always help when making a how to
