Default SXT can handle more boost?

I was told by some old guy that the SXT head can handle more boost than the SRT motor because the cylinder walls are thicker... Is this a fact or is it just bullshit. All hypothetical of course.

Just to clear up some confusion between me and a friend..

I dont think cylinder walls are much of an issue with srt blocks and boost. usually something else goes before that.

The older 2.0l heads had larger valves & exhaust ports. (DOHC of course, IDK about SOHC)
