i'm just sad this thread didnt' take off liek the OP wanted, seems liek alot of people just leave the stocker behind and ( to quote a song i don't remember the name of ) "keep movin on up" in size of turbo used. course E85 and a big turbo is alot more fun...

Yeah this thread has become pointless...not at all what I had hoped to get from people...I'm going e85 on my bws though...so I'm kinda "moving on up"

Not to change the topic but e-85 has a summer blend and winter blend right? What are the main differences between the two? Less ethanol content or just different properties?

Less ethanol in winter,usually around e70 here in chicago.

Its supposed to be E70 but Ive seen it as low as in the 50's and 60's.

Thats why I dont run E85 in the winter at all. Winter blends vary far more then any of the summer blends.

Unless you have a tune to take advantage of the fuel, you won't see any significant gains from the E-85.

You could get Duster's e-85 package and run that in the summer time. People seem to be getting good results from his package.
