just wondering about this. i have the synapse bov and like it alot with its response but i was wondering about the stg recirc. valve on whether keeping it stalled instead of an actual bov, would help in res[ponse. when letting off the gas,an ef2 does not have the same response as a stock turbo and it takes longer to boost. but with a recirc. valve, since it goes back through the system ,it would keep the turbo spooling . i do understand about the turbo going in reverse when letting off the gas but it only occurs when not in boost,correct? is there a stronger spring? any input would be apreciated.

i know, it releases the air going through the system which causes the turbo to start over again, which in turn takes time to spool. the stock recirc. valve reintorduces the air back into the system correct, in turn keeping the turbo moving more so it spools faster. does anyone feel as if the stock valve with a stronger spring, be better than a convetional bov?

The stock surge valve is not a problem even on big wheel stage 3 applications. They have been proven to work well. You don't need an external bov on a stage 3 or stock turbo.

^ Agreed.
The stock surge valve has been on big wheel stage 3's in the 11's. You dont need an upgraded spring or any external blow off valve.
