OMG dude, shut up. You are wrong. Plain & simple.

If I wanted to tune the heck out of my setup I could put up huge numbers too. I don't. Maxfest at high altitude can put up all the big numbers he wants & you can nuthug all day. Bring that car down out to cali & his numbers would be very different.

I don't care that you have an autoCAD degree. Who in the car world gives a shit. If you have firsthand turbo experience & can share what those experiences have been then talk, til then do us all a favor & shut the fuck up. Quit shitting on a thread that was asking for good advice. Good grief.

Then they all started shouting "14..14..14.."

If it was a big wheel, I will put money on you losing. I know guys that make 360 hp and 450 lbs of torque of the unmodified stage 3. you lost alot of the torque stage 3 dishes out when you add supporting mods.. This is exactly what Im talking about. You cant make a bigger wheel work well if you dont have good motor mods.. Torque is what gets you done the track.

I seen the guys dyno sheet you're talking about..That tq was a spike that lasted 200-300 rpms.:

no prob.

save yourself the money unless you really want to buy online.

these vendors like howell and PTP charge like 15-20$...pretty large mark up.

maybe see if you can order online from napa.

I've got a new S3 setup on order:

FBM v-band
47lb wheel
Porting on mani / turbo
Coating
External gate with 38mm TiAL

I hope to get some decent numbers out of it, but we'll see. I only have a walbro 255 and a fuel pump rewire at the moment, so we will see where that takes me.

For what I paid between the work and the core I could have easily been in a different setup. I didn't feel like trying to remove the S3 kit and sell it and buy a new big turbo kit.
