Just got back from the dyno. Well, it did not do to bad considering the mods on the car.
S3R w/toys
Coolingmist dual nozzle
full 3" exhaust with O2
Apg Wg set at 25psi
HOM on
Everything else is stock.
Numbers were 322FWHP and 390FWTQ. I think it would have done a lot better if I did not drive 60 miles to the place and then place is right on the dyno. The temp was right at 99degrees and I set it to run rich because it was only two pulls allowed. The really weird thing is that today my friend got his EVO9 dynoed also. He put down 367AWHP with 370AWTQ on a Dyno dymantic dyno which reads low than a Mustang. The owner actually was really suprised by his high numbers. Usually with his set-up they dyno much lower. On the way home we both raced each other three time and each time I pulled two cars on him from 60-125mph. Oh, well I guess dynos don't mean that much...
Don't want to get off the subject, but I realize there is alot of experience in this thread and wanted to get some opinions. I'm deployed to Iraq now and am working on a stage 3 setup. Just wanted to get some ideas of what to expect from this setup.
Form and function ported S3 manifold and turbo, ceramic coated, cryo treated
Ported head with oversize valves and 5 angle valve job
BC S3 cams, fidanza adjustable cam gears, BC springs and retainers.
S3 AGP WGA
Maxfab o2 housing
Bwoody MM
MPX TBE
.20 over JE Pistons 8.5:1
Eagle H beam rods
Devils own W/I with dual nozzles and progressive controler
Quickwhips FMIC
AEM CAI
Centerforce dual friction clutch with an 04 tranny
Hotchkis springs w/koni's and full urethane setup on suspension
I would like to piggyback this with a SAFC and have a reputable shop tune it. Im hoping for some low 11 second times. Im a pretty good driver, I put my old stage 1 setup at 12.6 @ 109 with only bolt ons.

Yes I plan on running HOM, I should have never went with the 8:5-1 pistons. Im looking for a headgasket to help lower my compression, does anyone know how much the DCR gasket would do that?
11.6 at 123 with a 1.70 was my best, i couldn;t hold hom, so im sure with hom i could have ran a bit faster
I am going to say your car is over-tired. You need to work on your suspension and I don't mean K member braces and all of that stuff.
I am only 4 tenths off your best 60ft time with smaller slicks and less power.
As I have said before if Sport FWD cars can get 1.59-1.60 60ft times with 24.5x8.5x15 M&H slicks, then you don't need 26" slicks if you can only muster a 1.70...
Van Natten is in that range with 24.5 slicks, you can do it too...
i have tein ss coilovers, and im getting the rage tek bushings. and so you know, the track i run is probably the worst track youd ever seen, a lot of the other guys with slicks were having trouble cutting 1.8, most were doing 1.9. im going to go to norwalk in ohio soon and see if anything changes

You have to be kidding me. Your comparing a 13 second car to his?
As for the sport FWD, your talking apples and oranges. Some of those cars are autos and have serious suspension setups. Your also talking about cars with very good boost control.
Your also talking about a car that is in dire need of an alignment, and he is a NEW driver[on slicks]. Not to mention the track he was at isnt very good I hear. With his current setup, he needs the 26s.
Until you get to his level, your talking in theory
what do you mean mine car is over tired, lol, the car has 20,000 miles on it, lol, and i granny shift as well, no wot shifting for me till the n2mb shift box goes in. i can gaurenttee you this car can go very low 11's with full interior. just needs one last tune, a half decent track, and some low 1.7 60 foots, low 11's for sure
