It has to make more then 440hp. I made 410 with NO ported exhaust or head, stock s3 o2 housing, full 2 1/2" exhaust, 2 1/2" cai and no race gas.

Port work or headwork isn't going to improve compressor flow. The 44lb wheel can only make so much power. The porting is only gonna allow you to get every last HP out of the turbo without restriction and improve your power band.

If someone makes more than that more power to them.

Nice graph. What is does your fuel system consist of?

Come on now Walt.

At that point the turbo becomes the restriction.

Not bad.

Looks to be about 20-25whp away through the whole graph than ours. We also made 413whp at 6200.

We will be going back soon after fixing a few things

Nice J. Have you tried teeing your FPR off the compressor housing for boost only source?

Aaron, have you guys considered doing a WG flapper upgrade to keep the internal gate guys happy?

Yea the midband was really hard to tune some pulls we would get to dance around 12's then the next it would be off the chart No doubt I have 20-30 in the mid band then the afr kept droping just before 6500!! Oh well I'm happy with the results, it was the 1st time I have ever touched a SAFC, install was easy tuning is a little different

Just take it slow and youll be fine

Come on now Walt.

At that point the turbo becomes the restriction.

I figured the exhaust side is a big restriction atleast on my setup. But maybe not. 440hp may be the limit.

The scroll area on the S3 is listed at 10cm2 which is about as big as it gets for that size turbo. A TD06HR wheel would be the upgrade but what kind of affect would remain to be seen. I'm not even sure they make a reverse rotation wheel that size?

I meant at 440whp.

Yes on your setup your exhaust is whats killing you...but your 30whp below 440. 30whp is alot with this turbo.

It makes no sense to go any bigger of a wheel other than the 44lb. You can go 10s with this turbo. If you want to go faster....its time to step it up [plain and simple]

10s is plenty fast enough for a street car...

Sorry I should clarify, bigger turbine wheel.

A TD06 turbine wheel mated to a 49lb compressor wheel (50trim) would be very interesting
