Sounds like an alignment issue though.
If it doesn't go in and blocks, it's usually something with the shifter / cables.
If it grinds it's the syncs.

i just adjusted my clutch pedal cause i couldnt push the clutch pedal to the floor without it rubbing the forks, first time i adjusted it i went to far and could barely shift gears...try adjusting the pedal out a little bit...cured my problem

ive already tried both of those cables and clutch adjustment, but i am going to do play with them again on my next day off, also i was reading a thread last night(very informative) and according to that being locked out is the sign of a bent shift fork which im leaning towards because i drove my car with a bad tob release fork for a while and even when i got the car at 35k it was hard to shift into second. i know its not a synchro, i know what thats like.

Had a little tuning session today with my new tune (tune 8).
At first it ran 10.0 A/F as soon as I hit boost.
Played with the settings a little and got it to run 10.6 - 11.2 under boost.
Without logging A/F, that's as good as it's going to get, because staring at the gauge doing 90 mph through the woods ain't funny.

Once I have my cat less SEE on (should be here next week), I'll try some more again.
Not in a hurry right now. Once the new exhaust is here, I'll wire the Uego into the scan gauge and then I have a) accurate readings and b) a A/F log.

What I noticed too, is that under boost my timing seems to stay at 22.5.
I added as much as 4 degrees with the DSP, but that didn't change anything... WTF?
Always get 22.5, unless I get ST knock. Then it reduces it obviously. Didn't knock much with the latest adjustments I made though. Every now and then a 0.5 to 1.0 degrees at 5k.

As far as boost goes, I hit 21 psi at around 3.7 - 4 k, then it drops to 20, then up to 21 again, then falls from 5 to 6k to 17 psi. Will see if the Boost Box changes that. But I want to install it after the new exhaust and after I've played with it more.
Don't want to deal with the box right now, that would just add more ??? to the mix

be very careful when you add that boost box...it takes some getting used to...im on week 3 and i pretty much disabled it and manually configured the whole thing...it can be a big PIA but once you get it its really nice...

@Conroy:
I can't seem to find a leak though...

@Bribri:
That's exactly why I want to wait! Got my head full with stuff at the moment anyways and too little time for the car. Having 2 project cars and being in the middle of renovating one house and buying another takes a little more time than I hoped

How much is the A/F of the DSP worth btw???
Shows 12.0 - 12.3 most of the time with my altered tune...

Boost: this pull starts at 2900 rpm. Full boost at 3750 - 21 psi
Drops to 18 at redline (6k)

A) Spool: should be.... what?

B) What about the A/Fs of the DSP. How do they correlate to your WB??
