Um, yeah, this is a noob question, but that 2 step colder thing...
Is that already taken care of by just buing the 5107s or do I have to say something else?

Yea its already took care of lol. They burn 2 steps colder then the stock heat range plugs. Help alot with heat im assuming. Also made my car idle a little better

If you get them be careful on gapping them DO NOT rub or break the electrode. Just use pliers to gap them. Not sure if you know that or not

Yep... I just boost leak tested my car and found a HUGE leak..the tee that connects to the BOV was totally cracked in half. I bet that has been my boost holding problem I will try it out tonight and get a log up.

i need to get or make a boost leak tester asap im pretty sure its at the temp sesnor considering im broke right now because i bought an act 6puck and i made homemade hard pipes. what do you guys use for a leak tester? i never tried pcm controlled boost today and i went to get 5107s but advanced auto and autozone didnt have them and napa and carquest were closed, maybe tomorrow.

O-reillys (sp) can get them next day. And I just did the cheap and easy tester worked fine

make sure to use two clamps to hold the tester to the compressor inlet.

kason what size did you buy because i tried to make one like that before and bought the 3 inch quick cap but it was too big its actual inside diameter was 3 1/2 inch

also my rpms are hanging up really bad and the car is ideling horrible it seems like a vacumm leak to me but i cant find one(this just started tonight) im going to try replacing all my vacumm lines tomorrow but if that doesnt fix it do you guys have any ideas?!

you def have a tps sensor problem. whether it be the wires or sensor itself. very very common problem for our cars. i changed mine about 3 months ago and its doing it again. im going to be doing the rewire soon.

also look at the brake booster line it can cause rpms to hang
