ok so i finally have the turbo broke in and i went and tuned a little tonight. it loves timing is a damn fact. i have added 3 degrees already and it still has 0 knock on the scangauge. but i am running pig rich. i have my limiter set at 6600 and want to shift at 6500 but for some reason i am breaking up and it sounds like its hitting a limiter around 6200-6300. its weird cause thats right where the stock limiter is. maybe some help on that. i am around 10.3 or so at redline but i dont think that would cause the car to break up so bad. i think for some reason the pcm is not accepting the rev limiter change. it is stage 1. but every time i get to around that rpm it goes crazy. only on 12 pounds but that will change soon when i get my boost controller here in the next few days i would imagine.

That's funny!
I noticed that RPM thing too.
I just thought the tach might be slow :?

I'll take a look at my logs, because even with the tach not up to speed, the log should show what's going on...

Huh... the logs seem to back your theory up.
I hit the limiter at 6200 even though mine's set to 6400.

Set it to 7k just for shits and giggles.
That should be easy to see

on the dsp to change the rev limiter you have to change it in both nuetral and drive to the same rpm or it wont work.

Boost isn't there.
You have "AVG MAP to use" and "Baro".
The first minus the second is "boost"

Dont worry its been known you will see high timing with such low boost. It will go down or should once you start boosting in the 20's

My advance is at 22 right now.
Didn't log the latest tune yet.
Might do so tonight if I end up going to the track.

Yea. I just adjusted the drive and neutral up to 6600 rpms. Works like a charm. Do you have the Latest CROM on your unit. There was a problem for anything under revision 16 i think.

hmmmm for some reason that is not working for me. maybe i just need to lean out my tune a little more. 10.3 at redline on 12 pounds with alot of timing might be why. 0 knock though.
