i really think cams will fix your problem kason.

stock cams max out at 5200 and by 6200 they are just hurting you. get some cams and im sure youll be able to hold the boost.

Cams will lower boost, not raise it. More flow = more power at the same or lower psi. If were talking about power, yes, I think a proper cam will help him hold power a touch longer (maybe to 6k instead of 5k like he is now).

The main point is that the 44lb wheel is not large enough to keep the chamber filled with pressure near redline, so psi drops off.

I am starting to summize that pretty much all the delta series turbos are in their main efficiency range from about 24psi to 28psi. I found the same thing on my D55.

ya... i want to find a way to hold power all the way to 6k+ with this turbo.

i think cams is the only option for us minus pulling mani's and port/polishing

i dont think the delta 55 will have a problem holding 25psi at redline, or ~30...

blu i never asked you this but you running tbolt clamps? if not, go get them (regarding your track boost issue)

i mean some are t-bolt, some are not. My charge pipe has 2 worm clamps at the turbo and my hotside pipe has a worm clamp at the intercooler side connection. EVERYTHING else is T-bolt style.

My guess is i am leaking at the charge pipe to turbo. Either that or i tore the BOV diaphragm.
