Removing the Starter

Howdy!

Has anyone removed the starter w/o having to remove the intake manifold? It seems like a tight little spot.

Yes you can do it without removing the intake manifold. Get under the car and do it. Tight fit but definitely doable without removing the manifold.

yes, we do not remove the intake manifold whenever we do clutchs by me, which requires removing the starter.

just disconnect your battery, disconnect the starter connections, then pull the bolts and slide it out and you'll be fine.
