Default Oil pressure drop from pan to head

After reading through posts and checking out the archives it seems as though at idle people are getting about 40-45 at the pan, 20-25 at the stock location and 5-10 at the head. That means there is about a 40psi drop from the pan to the head at idle. Which got me thinking where mine reads 0-5 at times at idle could it be that my oil pump is just a couple psi off and that is what is giving the 0 reading at times.

It seems to make sense to me but that might just be because I am tired and have put to much thought into it.

I have 19-20psi fully warmed up off the head, 35-40psi cruising, and around 50psi WOT.

Only thing I can think of is you used the wrong port on the head, you are using thinner oil than you should be, or you have an oil modifier in your head.

I think your the highest oil pressure I have ever seen for idle coming off the head so far most seem to hold between 5-10.

Where did you tap into the head at?
