NY srt needs help - Page 2 - SRT Forums

All right cool thanks ill see if my tuner can shut it off. Hopefully it'll all be done this week finally, i haven't even really driven the car on this new set-up...

Ok so i saw my tuner he said the dsp software doesn't give him the option to turn the miss fire monitor off so he increased timing a lil and and put more spark threw the plugs....any other ideas :-\

2000 and up car to pass nysi need 4 monitors ran and 1 not ran to pass. If you get the misfire monitor off and there are no other problems then your good to go. The hand held from what i know will not allow you to just shut them off you will need a CMR tuner to turn them off.

Bro you need to find a new tuner because what he did makes no sense. To make things easy you need to flash the stock tune back in, put the stock injectors and sensors in, and play with the cam timing until it smooths out the idle so you dont get a misfire
