i have a stock turbo with ptp w/g. my issue is that boost drops off to 12 psi by 5500 to 6000 rpm. when i first installed the w/g it would spike 17 and hold 14 to 15 at redline. i have checked for boost leaks, tested to 25 psi. no major leaks found. i checked for shaft play and there is some. there is no binding or scraping noise when turning by hand. i also noticed that the turbo is much louder when spooling. would that make my boost drop that much? thanks for your input and or advice
i did notice a difference after installing the bfmic, but i re adjusted my waste gate and it seemed to hold fine, 14 psi anyway. i dont want to adjust it anymore because i dont have a wideband.
are you controlling you boost or is the computer? if you take the bleed line and connect it to the back of your compressor housing...you will have a more consistent boost reading. and the factory boost guage sucks. it may be inaccurate.

Hey lady, drop the peon and hop in the Neon...LMAO
i have the w/g line running off the compressor housing. i'm not sure how good the autometer pro comp 30 psi guage is but i have one
well so long as the guage reads 0 when the car is turned off...it should be accurate. if your sure you have no leaks...then increase boost. you can take it up to about 18 safely after that you need a map clamp a fuel controler.
