Hello I'm new to turbos and srt. Want to put a ssqv hks bov on my srt. Is it as easy as buy block off plate and put the new one on in-between the throttle body and intercooler? Not sure if I put this in the right thread and sorry if I didn't . Ty for any help

Yes its easy.

You shouldnt do it though. A external bov on a stock turbo is just for noise.

If you are changing the bov just for noise..........STOP. Thats stupid.

There are how to's on here for a HKS bov install. Read them before you attempt this.

The location of the stock surge valve is better than on the cold pipe.. it can increase surge and cause problems with the stock turbo. Plus its just blowing money on stuff you dont need yet...

just my 2 cents.

And that's what I was thinking about the set up its at seems like it is to far away and will not let the boost out b4 it hits the Turbo ain't that what makes it flutter and tear it up after a wile? As you can see I don't know alot about turbos but have always loved the srt sence 03you

If you had a bigger turbo, then you could go with your HKS.

With the stock turbo having the surge valve right on the compressor cover, that is the best spot for letting out boost.
